Funding Priorities
Each ward has its own Community First Panel which is made up of members of your community who have come together to produce a list of priorities to improve your area. If a project fits in with these priorities then the panel may recommend it for funding.
Priorities
1. Support new group start up
2. Improve physical environment
3. Increase opportunities for residents to take part in activities

You can apply for a grant from a minimum of £250 to a maximum of £2,500 per year. The programme will run until March 2015 and funds will be available during that time.

This Community First panel has made recommendations including a young people's theatre project, Homewatch scheme, young people's music project and an amateur boxing group.

Our local priorities for Moston Ward were agreed in discussions with local politicians, key supporting partners (including local council departments, Registered Social Landlords, Police and other key organisations serving the local community) and representatives of the local community (including residents groups and friends groups active within the ward via direct attendance during meetings or through Ward Member surgeries). The ward priorities were discussed, agreed and reviewed at the following meetings;

• Strategic Residents Forum 31st January 2013
• Ward Coordination Meeting 20th February 2013
• Core Group Meeting 18th April 2013
